Muitos dizem que o rock não tem nada a ver com o pop e vice e versa, mas do contrário ao que todos pensam(ou a maioria) pop tem muito de rock, como rock também tem muito de pop!

Isso se confirma através do casamento entre esses dois gêneros distintos mas semelhantes ao mesmo tempo!

No exemplo Michael Jackson em parceria com Slash( ex-guitarrista do Guns n' Roses) pop e rock se misturam falcilmente deixando o embalo de um album muito mais marcante, e cheio de personalidade e criatividade...

Resultado disso podemos ver no sucesso de "Dangerous"(Album de Michael Jackson-2001)
